Membership

The Global Alliance for SBC aims to create a unified legitimate voice to galvanize international, national, and regional processes that advance quality and impact of SBC strategies. We are looking to enlarge our global and local membership to ensure more inclusive and active engagement and participation across the diverse SBC field.

Organizations can join the Global Alliance for SBC if (one of) your primary focus(es) of work includes social and behavior change (SBC) interventions.

Organizations with sub-national, national, regional, or global reach wishing to join the Global Alliance may reference the expectations for participation below and request the application form from board@globalalliancesbc.org.

Benefits to Members

  • Access to and engagement with a diverse and richly experienced network of SBC organizations
  • Ability to contribute to advocacy strategies to support SBC sector strengthening and investments from national to global level
  • Access to extensive searchable evidence/impact database
  • Ability to contribute to development of Policy Briefs using completed evidence reviews
  • Contribution to determining the expansion of services for Members
  • Opportunities to share and present on SBC topics, approaches, and innovations

Expectations for Member Participation

  1. Monthly All-Member Meetings – A Member representative attends each monthly call.
  2. Cluster Working Groups – Member personnel participate in at least one Cluster working group. Larger organizations are encouraged to dedicate multiple personnel to more than one group.
  3. Annual Membership Fees – Members contribute fees on a sliding scale between USD200-300
